(MVI), will be attending the American Wind Energy Association (AWEA) Offshore WINDPOWER 2019 Conference from October 22-23, 2019 in Boston, MA.  AWEA is the national trade association for the U.S. wind industry and has thousands of wind industry members and wind policy advocates, AEA promotes wind energy as a clean source of electricity for American consumers.  

MVI actively provides protected species monitoring, mitigation, equipment and reporting in support of both nearshore and offshore wind projects.  

MVI’s team of professional Protected Species Observers (PSO), Endangered Species Observation (ESO), and Passive Acoustic Monitoring (PAM) Operators that are both Bureau of Ocean Energy Management (BOEM) and National Marine Fisheries Service (NMFS)-approved for offshore wind projects. 

MVI also provides alternative monitoring to fulfill BOEM lease requirements during periods of reduced visibility.  MVI has a fully redundant MSeis Nighthawk III PAM system located in our Stuart, Florida office, and can quickly mobilize meeting our client’s needs and deadline.  MVI offers both night vision binoculars and infrared cameras, including both handheld and mounted systems.
